Old kebaya with chain stitching. This is too labour intensive for today's production model and therefore no longer done. Circa 1930s-1940s.
Two small patches of repairs, on the upper back, one stitch-patch approximately 1x1 cm and the smaller one measuring 1 x 05 cm. Otherwise in good vintage condition.
These are approximate, while laid flat with front in closed position, inclusive of embroidery/lacing/hole embroidery
Shoulder to shoulder = 30 cm
Armpit to armpit = 45 cm
Neck seam to bottom back = 46 cm
Neck seam to longest point at the front = 70 cm
Shoulder seam to wrist (arm) = 55 cm
Embroidery including "lacing" (hole embroidery) = approx 7 cm
Tip embroidery / lacing = 7 cm
