Two Chinese Song / Ming Dynasty Celadon Porcelain Bowls (damaged)

Two bowls both with faults. The larger bowl dating to the early Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) broken and poorly re-stuck. Diameter 19.5 cm. The smaller bowl dating to the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279) with a carved petal design to its outer surface and coated in a finely-crackled "golden" celadon glaze. It has a section that appears to have been replaced with restoration material and painted over. Diameter 15.75 cm.

This porcelain jarlet was made during the 16th Century. It is "heavily-potted" and is coated in a thick glaze that is lightly crackled. It is decorated with a scrolling floral pattern in underglaze blue of good colour.

Height 5.5 cm. Condition is very good with no restoration or repair and just a small chip to the inner edge of the mouth.

This porcelain jar, or large jarlet, was made during the Wanli Reign (1573 - 1620) of the Ming Dynasty. It is "heavily-potted" and has a thick crackled glaze that covers both inner and outer surfaces. The underglaze blue decoration features flower blossoms and floral patterns.

Height 7.5 cm. There is some "nibbling" around the vulnerable rim edge, but there is no repair or restoration.

Chinese Ming Dynasty Porcelain Celadon Dish / Bowl (22.5cm)

This "heavily-potted" dish, or bowl, was made in the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). It is coated in a celadon glaze, the colour of which varies a little places. The glaze to the inner and outer walls is crackled but is crackle-free to the flat inner surface. This dish is a little misshapen.
