This extremely rare toad-shaped pedestal, or base, for the legendary coin-shedding tree dates to the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 25 - 220) and has been excavated from Sichuan province. Large Chinese Ming Dynasty Stone Panel - Horse / Qilin / Deer

This stone panel was made during the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) and features three animals, a horse, a qilin (mythical creature) and a deer. This panel was most likely originally one of a series. Very impressive when displayed well and lit from a angle.

Length 80 cm (31.5 inches), height 24 cm (9.5 inches). On the surface in places are calcified deposits. Condition is good with no repair or restoration.

This carved stone panel was made during the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). The decoration features a horse, a qilin (mythical creature) and a deer. This extremely rare large stone tile dates to the Jin Dynasty (AD 1115 - 1234).
