Chinese 19th Century Blue & White Porcelain Bowl

This "heavily-potted" porcelain bowl was made during the 19th century. The outer wall is rather "busily" decorated in underglaze blue. Diameter 15 cm. There is a shirt hairline to the rim edge, no repair or restoration and a good ring when tapped.

Chinese 19th Century Blue & White Porcelain Bowl

This porcelain bowl was made during the 19th century. It has a flared mouth and stands on quite a sturdy foot. The underglaze blue decoration is quite elaborate and has fired almost to black in places, the brightest blue being the mark within the recessed base.

Diameter 16.5 cm (6.5 inches). This bowl is in fine condition with no restoration or repair and a good ring when tapped.

The underglaze blue decoration has been stamped on and has fired more to black than blue. Chinese 19th Century Small Blue & White Porcelain Bowl

This attractively-shaped smaller porcelain bowl was made during the 19th century. It has a flared rim and stands on quite a sturdy high foot. The underglaze blue has fired almost to black; note the Chinese character to the inner centre and the seal mark to the base. Diameter 10.5 cm. This bowl was recovered from the Tek Sing shipwreck, the cargo of which was sold at Nagel’s auctioneers in Germany in 2000. It is of finer quality than many other Tek Sing pieces with a nice “silky” feel to the surface. Chinese Kangxi Blue & White Porcelain Dish - Swastika Mark

This attractive porcelain dish was made during the Kangxi reign (1622 - 1722) of the Qing Dynasty. It is quite "heavily-potted" and has a moulded cavetto and foliate rim. The underglaze blue decoration is of very good colour and features in the centre a basket of flowers surrounded by various floral and blossom patterns. The underside is more simply decorated and has a beribboned Buddhist swastika design in the centre of the base.

Chinese Kangxi Blue & White Porcelain Square Bottle Vase

This heavily-potted blue & white bottle was made during the Kangxi reign (1662 - 1722) of the Qing Dynasty. To be accurate, the shape is rectangular as opposed to square. It is nicely decorated, each panel containing many flower blossoms surrounded by a key-fret border. The flat base remains unglazed with characters (?) that appear to be in fired-on black pigment. It has a short neck with a flared mouth.
