Rare Large Burmese 15th Century Celadon Stoneware Bowl / Dish

This wide shallow stoneware bowl, or dish, was made during the 14th - 15th century. It is coated in a particularly attractive transparent pale yellowish-green glaze that is finely-crackled. The flat base remains unglazed.

A good size with a diameter of 24 cm (9.5 inches). It is in good condition; although there is surface wear and some staining of the glaze, there is no restoration or repair.
