Vietnamese 14th / 15th Century Moulded Bowl

This bowl was made during the 14th - 15th century and is coated in a thin pale greenish-yellow glaze. Around the outside of the stacking ring is a moulded pattern. The foot and lower outer body remain unglazed.

Chinese Small Song / Yuan Dynasty Dehua Porcelain Moulded Dish

This "white ware" porcelain dish was made during the 13th - 14th century at the Dehua kilns in Fujian province. It is "heavily-potted" and has a "chalky" white body. The outer wall is decorated with a repeating moulded leaf pattern. The inner and outer surface are coated in a pale qingbai-type glaze. The rim and base remain unglazed.

Chinese Ming Dynasty Monochrome White Porcelain Wine Cup

This is an early to middle Ming dynasty (circa 15th century) monochrome white porcelain wine cup. It has a very thin and translucent body. These cups were stacked inside each other in the kiln for firing, hence the unglazed circle inside the cup. The glaze is a little crackled in places. Diameter 6.5 cm. It is in fine condition and has no restoration or repair.

Chinese Qianlong Blue & White Porcelain Dish

This dish was made in the 18th century, during the Qianlong reign (1735 - 1796) of the Qing Dynasty or possibly a little earlier. The underglaze blue decoration features various floral patterns. Iron-brown has been painted around the rim edge to prevent fritting of the glaze.

Fine Chinese Qianlong Blue & White Porcelain Octagonal Dish

This dish was made in the 18th century, during the Qianlong reign (1735 - 1796) of the Qing Dynasty. The underglaze blue decoration features various elaborate floral patterns. There is minor "fritting" to the glaze at the rim edge. Surface wear is minimal.

Diameter 23.5 cm (9.25 inches). This dish is in fine condition with no cracks or chips, is free from any restoration or repair and has a good ring when tapped.

This small porcelain jar was made during the late 15th to early 16th century. It is "heavily-potted" and coated in a thick glaze with a floral pattern decoration in underglaze blue of good colour. Around the rim edge is insignificant "fritting" to the glaze, invariably seen on such ware of this period. The flat base remains unglazed. 

Diameter 6.5 cm. This jarlet is in fine condition with no repair or restoration.

Small Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Dish - Peach & Bird

This small porcelain dish was made during the mid to late 16th century (c. 1560 - 1590). The underglaze blue decoration features a bird perched upon a branch of a peach tree. The underside is more simply decorated with just two thin blue bands circling the rim and foot ring, and a basic seal mark to the base.

The peach represents marriage and is a symbol of immortality and springtime.

Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Dish - Buddhist Lion

This small porcelain dish was made during the latter part of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). It has a flared rim and stands on a sturdy foot. It is attractively decorated in underglaze blue of good colour, the design featuring a Buddhistic lion dog. The underside remains undecorated.

Diameter 10 cm. Although there is no restoration or repair, there are two tiny chips to the rim edge.
