The fine stoneware box, or covered jar, was made during the 9th -10th century. Both inner and outer surfaces of cover and body are coated in a thin transparent pale olive-green glaze. This small stoneware jar was made during the late 11th or 12th century. It is quite heavily-potted and takes the form of a drum.
