Chinese Western Han Dynasty Painted Pottery Head - Female
This pottery head was made during the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 8). It has been cold painted in black and white pigments with a pink pigment on top of the white in places. Height 10 cm. It is possible the pigment has been touched-up but the pottery itself shows no sign of restoration or repair.
Note: it is shown on a simple black base - this is a photographic prop and is not included in the sale.
