Chinese Song Dynasty Longquan Celadon Small Round Bowl
This rare and attractively-shaped small bowl was made during the 12th - 13th centuries at one of the Longquan kilns, Zhejiang province. It is coated in a finely-crackled blueish-green glaze except for the base that remains mostly unglazed. At least one line of glaze crackle has penetrated the body. There is a band of three lightly-incised lines surrounding the outer rim. There are a couple of glaze imperfections to the inner surface but there is no repair or restoration. Diameter 8.5 cm (3.33 inches). A very nice small Longquan bowl.
