Fine Chinese Song Dynasty Incised Celadon Glazed Bowl
This bowl was made during the 12th - 13th century, most likely at one of the Anqi kilns in Fujian province. It is quite "heavily-potted" and coated in a crackled translucent celadon glaze. The inner surface has been decorated with a deeply incised floral pattern and there are four decorative "V"-shaped "notches" around the rim.
Diameter 17 cm (6.5 inches). It is a fine example of its type with no repair or restoration and good ring when tapped.
