Chinese Song Dynasty Qingbai Porcelain Bowl
This porcelain bowl was made during the Southern Song Dynasty (AD 1127 - 1279). It is coated in a finely-crackled pale greenish Qingbai glaze. The rim remains unglazed, the reason being that such bowls were stacked on top of each other in the kiln between firing support rings (see our item, stock number M0443 for full details).
Diameter 15 cm (approx. 6 inches). There are a few very small "nibbles" to the rim edge. There is no repair or restoration.
