Small Thai 14th - 15th Century Sawankhalok Stoneware Jar / Box
This small stoneware box, or covered jar, was made during the 14th - 15th centuries at one of the Sawankhalok kilns. It is decorated in bands of underglaze iron-brown and a clear pale blueish glaze. Height 5 cm. It is in fine condition with no restoration or repair and just a couple of tiny, and expected, "nibbles" to the inner rim of the lower section.
