Thai 14th - 15th Century Small Sawankhalok Covered Box
This small covered stoneware box was made at the Sawankhalok kilns around the 14th - 15th century. Both upper and lower parts have underglaze patterns of geometric and floral designs. The finial of the cover is fashioned into a floral form. Diameter 6 cm. The surface of the glaze has degraded and there are a few tiny chips to the edges but there is no repair or restoration.
