Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Bowl - Bird in Tree
This blue & white bowl was made during the 16th century. The underglaze blue pattern features two "bird in tree" designs on opposing sides of the outer wall and a blossoming tree to the inner centre. It has been coated in a crackled glaze. Diameter 15 cm. There are cracks to part of the outer wall that seem to follow the crackle of the glaze. It is not clear if these cracks have been stabilised or whether a section was actually broken out and very tightly re-stuck.
