Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Dish
This attractive blue & white porcelain dish was made during the latter part of the Ming Dynasty (1368- 1644). The pattern features a fenced garden scene, the pattern comprising predominantly leaves. The underside wall is decorated with a scrolling leaf pattern. This dish is a good size with a diameter of 18.5 cm (7.25 inches). It is in very good condition; there are a few minor blemishes to the glaze, caused during manufacture and quite typical of this type of ware, but there is no restoration or repair and this dish has a good ring when tapped.
