Fine Small Chinese Transitional Blue & White Porcelain Jar
This attractively-shaped porcelain jar was made during the “Transitional” period, around the middle of the 17th century at the end of the Ming Dynasty and the beginning of the following Qing Dynasty. It is decorated in underglaze blue of good colour with a pattern comprising mostly branches of peaches (meaning marriage and immortality). Height 9 cm (3.5 inches). No repair or restoration; fine condition.
