Fine Chinese Early Ming Dynasty Celadon Bowl – Incised Lotus Pattern

This attractive bowl was made during the14th – 15th century, probably at the Longquan kilns in Zhejiang province. It is heavily-potted and coated in a finely-crackled transparent green glaze, save for the unglazed foot revealing the pale grey body. The inner surface is nicely decorated with a scrolling lotus blossom pattern.

A good size with a diameter of 19.5 cm (7.5 inches). An exceptional example, in fine condition and with no repair or restoration.
