Chinese Late Ming Dynasty / Transitional Blue & White Porcelain Bowl
This blue & white porcelain bowl was made around the mid 17th century (c. 1630 – 1660). It is “heavily-potted” and coated in a thick crackled glaze. The colour of the underglaze blue decoration varies in places and features a floral scroll. It has an iron-brown rim, this to prevent fritting of the glaze during manufacture.
Diameter 15 cm (6 inches). This bowl is in fine condition and has no restoration or repair.
