Thai 14th - 15th Century Celadon Glazed Stoneware Bowl
This small stoneware bowl was made during the 14th – 15th century at the Sawankhalok kilns. The outer wall is decorated with parallel carved lines whereas the inner surface remains undecorated, save for the finely-crackled celadon glaze. The relatively tall and sturdy foot remains unglazed revealing the pinkish-brown body.
Diameter 11 cm (4.25 inches). The glaze has worn a little thin in places but there is no repair or restoration.
