Fine Small Chinese Porcelain Figure of a Reclining Lady - Kangxi
This very attractive small porcelain figure was made in the late 17th century during the Kangxi reign (1662 - 1722) of the Qing Dynasty. It is of a reclining lady holding a fan coated in various glazes, the predominant glaze being pale green. The flat base remains unglazed.
This figure was recovered from a shipwreck by Captain Michael Hatcher of "Hatcher Cargo" fame.
Height 7.5 cm. It is in fine condition with no restoration or repair.
