Chinese Qianlong Blue & White Porcelain Octagonal Dish with Rivets
This dish was made in the 18th century, during the Qianlong reign (1735 - 1796) of the Qing Dynasty. The underglaze blue decoration is of good colour and features pagodas within a riverside scene surrounded by an elaborate border that includes butterflies.
Diameter 23.75 cm (9.25 inches). This dish has been broken in two and repaired with rivets. There is also a rim chip.
