Chinese Qianlong Blue & White Porcelain Dish
This dish was made in the 18th century, during the Qianlong reign (1735 - 1796) of the Qing Dynasty or possibly a little earlier. The underglaze blue decoration features various floral patterns. Iron-brown has been painted around the rim edge to prevent fritting of the glaze.
Diameter 22.5 cm (8.75 inches). The glaze is a little mis-coloured in places. There are some minor chips to the rim edge that have been touched-up where they fall within the iron-brown edge. There is no repair or restoration and the dish has a good ring when tapped.
