Chinese Kangxi Blue & White Porcelain Dish
This dish was made during the Kangxi reign (1662 - 1722) of the Qing Dynasty. The underglaze blue is of good colour and features various floral designs. To the base within two blue bands is a seal mark (not translated).
Diameter 23.5 cm (9.25 inches). The glaze at the rim edge is "fritted" in places, this caused during manufacture; there are also some additional minor rim chips and a couple of very fine hairlines at the rim edge. However, this dish is free from any restoration or repair and does still have a ring when tapped.
