Chinese Song Dynasty Ge (Crackle Glaze) Celadon Dish
This rare and attractive small stoneware dish was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279). It is coated in a thick pale yellowish-green "ge" type of glaze, save for the sandy-coloured base.
Diameter 11.75 cm. It is in very good condition, with no restoration or repair, the only real defect being a tiny surface chip of the glaze at the rim edge.
