Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Celadon Glazed Bowl
This bowl of porcelaneous ware was made in the 12th - 13th century, during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279) or the following Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368), most likely from one of the kilns in Fujian province where many such wares were made for export to Southeast Asia. Quite a large area of the underside remains unglazed, including the heavily-cut foot, the rest being coated in a finely-crackled yellowish-green glaze. Surrounding the midpoint of the inner wall is a single incised line.
Diameter 17.5 cm. There is some surface wear to the glaze. This bowl is in good condition and has no restoration or repair.
