Rare Chinese Western Jin Dynasty Small Yue Ewer
This rare and unusual small yueyao stoneware ewer was made during the Western Jin Dynasty (AD 265 - 316). Both inner and outer surfaces are coated with an olive-green glaze. The mouth is a little misshapen and the loop handle is somewhat uneven. Interestingly, the potter's fingerprints can be seen on the surface of the handle. There are some hard "calcified" deposits to the inner surface.
Height 9.5 cm. It is in fine condition with no restoration or repair.
