Chinese Neolithic Polished Hardstone Adze / Axe Head
This hardstone adze or axe head was collected in Gansu province in the north of China around 25 years ago. We bought several of them at the same time as buying many examples of Neolithic pottery. It dates to around 2000 BC.
Length 12.5 cm, maximum width 5.5 cm, thickness 2 cm. Weight 311 g.
