At 24.5", this a most impressive piece of ginbari cloisonne. Over a ground of graduated blue, a flock of white doves flutters through masses of lilies.
Condition: Good for such a large piece of Meiji period ginbari. There is a discolored hairline extending most of the way around the upper rim, small oxidized areas, and other less obvious hairlines. None of these imperfections are overly obvious because of the size of the vase. Detailed photographs will be provided upon request to one seriously interested in the piece.
