Incredible original hand made ANGEL pendant by Joseph Gourdji, NYC, c.1970's consisting of copper, paste or rhinestones, and enamel. Early modernist 14k and opal tie tac by the famous NYC designer, Ed Levin, c.1952. It is quite rare to see gold work by this artist, and this is a beautifully handmade piece. Lushly designed floral sterling and amethyst pin sold by Sanborn's and possibly made by Fred Davis who managed and designed for the store from 1947 through the early 50's, Mexico, c.1950. Pin is signed "bellmark 22", which was Sanborn's number. It measures 2 1/8" long by 1" wide. Excellent condition except that pin was probably changed with lead solder. Hand made silver set of necklace and bracelet,c.1950's. Unsigned with soldered links, the necklace measures 14 3/4" long and the bracelet, 8". Coiled aluminum wire ring made without soldering, in the style of Alexander Calder, c.1950's. Has large circular design and measures 1 1/4" in diameter. The ring is cleverly designed so that the band is set towards the edge rather than the mid section. Hence it lays comfortably on the finger. Ed Wiener also used this technique(see back photo). Lovely silver and copper pin by Enrique Ledesma, Mexico, c.1947. Unusual design with hand stamped hearts and butterflies with copper overlay. Made of heavy gauge silver, it measures 2 3/4" long by 1 3/4" wide. Signed "925 LEDESMA PLATERIA CORTES HECHO EN MEXICO bellmark 3" and is in excellent condition. Beautiful repousee sterling necklace(matching bracelet is also being offered), by Los Castillo, Mexico, c.1947. Made of very heavy gauge silver, it weighs 3 1/2 troy oz(105 gms). Made of 20 links, each measuring 1" long by 3/4" wide, the total length is 15". There is an overlapping of links. Early sterling bolo with Mayan design on a brown leather braided thong with the fabulous cactus-design ends, Mexico, c.1942. Hand made of heavy gauge silver, the bolo(1 1/8" long by 1 1/4" wide) shows a framed Mayan figure with a recessed oxydized background highlighting the figure. The two ends are silver cactii(each 1 3/8" long). They are just incredible! Aztec motif-design 980 and cabochon amethyst early pin by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1931. Pin is handmade with a primitive look. Miniature Eastlake design carved wood and upholstery sofa with 8 legs. It measures 20 1/4" long by 9 1/2" high by 6" deep. The wood has a mahogany reddish stain and the printed fabric is upholstery grade. The colors of the fabric are a beige background with blue and yellow stripes and red and green flowers. The condition is very good except for one side - see last photo. There is a crack in the wood on the one side and one leg. Otherwise, perfect. Great looking and quite unusual.....$15 for ins...
