Heavy gauge sterling necklace by MARGOT DE TAXCO, Mexico, c.1948. Made of riveted links(see back closeup photo), this beautifully constructed necklace is in excellent condition. Never seen this interesting leaf-type design before. It measures 15" long by 1/2" wide and is signed "MARGOT DE TAXCO A 5612 bellmark".......$20 for insured US shipping.

Wonderfully designed hand made necklace by MAYA, Mexico, c.1950's after a Hubert Harmon design. Maya frequently copied Harmon designs. Looks just like silver with a great patina, but probably made of silver plate because there are no Mexican silver marks. The locking mechanism is separated from the main part by black velvet ribbon. Of large scale, the largest irregular square measures 2" wide by 1 3/4" high and the necklace measures 15 1/2" around...

George Shiebler type of aesthetic movement period medallion silver pin with 4 overlapping discs, c.1870. Each face is a Greek mythological figure. Not signed, but tested for silver, it measures 2 1/4" long. Very beautiful and in excellent condition....$7 USA insured shipping.

Striking, hand made, and large sterling MAYAN face BOLO made by MIGUEL and sold at RANCHO ALLEGRE, the largest silver shop in Taxco, during the 1960's-70's. The design shows a darkened silver background which highlights the shiny silver face, decorative element, and edge. The bolo measures 2" wide by 1 3/4" long and the decorative silver ends measure 1 1/4" long. The black fabric tie measures 39" long and has a small wear spot to the fabric but can be worn with no trouble or weakness...

One or a kind sterling, mother-of-pearl, with five interesting good-size stones necklace that was produced for the Milana 2000 New York City collection(see paper label photos). There is a large piece of gold colored mother-of-pearl set in the center above a faceted tear-drop shaped topaz. On either side of the necklace are four different stones. The top left stone is clear with reddish brown streaks...

Great modernist designed mixed metals ring in silver and brass, possibly by ANTONIO PINEDA. It is signed "TONO 925" and is in excellent condition. This wonderful "lightening" ring has bolts of brass and silver set against an oxydized silver background. It is made of very heavy gauge silver, weighing 30 gms. and is size 9. Modernist hand made 14k with 4 cultured pearls pin by Ellis Kauppi, founder of Kupitaan Kulta in 1945, Finland, c.1960's. Round pin measures 1 1/2" in diameter with 4 lustrous cultured pearls(4 3/4mm)at center. Trumpet lock securely closes pin which is in excellent condition. Pin is signed "anvil 585 FINLAND". Unique modernist design 14k and stone ring. The square faceted stone is a bit less than 1/2 carat, and is assumed to be an almondine garnet, but could possibly be another gem stone. Coiled aluminum wire ring made without soldering, in the style of Alexander Calder, c.1950's. Has large circular design and measures 1 1/4" in diameter. The ring is cleverly designed so that the band is set towards the edge rather than the mid section. Hence it lays comfortably on the finger. Ed Wiener also used this technique(see back photo).
