Very unusual retro cabochon emerald ring in a 14k rose gold setting. The very large emerald is approximately 8 carats and is UNEVEN at the top of the stone and has many inclusions. The setting is made of curled rose gold wire at each side which appealingly brings the eye to the stone. The emerald rises 3/8" above the setting and is 5/8" long. Interesting combination of Edwardian design of sapphires with rose diamonds in a 14k white filigree gold ring setting, c.1915.
