Very early gold-washed sterling mirror/photo round locket by William B. Kerr Co., Newark, c.1865. Has beautiful defined Victorian design on both sides. One side was meant to hold a photograph and the other, a mirror. The mirror has seen it's day, so two photos are fine. One side has a slight bend(see photo #3). Otherwise, very excellent condition. Measures a generous 1 1/2" in diameter with original bale and signed "Kerr mark STERLING 7", which indicates it is one of the very early Kerr designs...

Aesthetic movement Shiebler-type sterling MEDALLIONS pin by Parks Bros. & Rogers, Providence, Rhode Island, c.1885. Heavy gauge silver pin with a medallion at each end and an adjoining chain link design makes for a very strong design. Chain link is curved so pin can hold a scarf. Wonderful modernist sterling and ebony cufflinks by Esther Lewittes, c.1940's. Strong design and very well executed, they measure 1" square. Hand made sterling modernist sterling, amethyst, copper pin by Sam kramer, NYC, c.1950's. Hand hammered, this large round pin measures 2" in diameter and the pinwheel center design measures 1" in diameter. Pinwheel is raised above the round part(see photo #2) by an applied round silver piece. This is a very desirable Kramer technique. Amethyst has a copper bezel on the pinwheel. Signed "STERLING mushroom mark(for Kramer)" and is in excellent condition...

Early hand made eye/eyelash sterling and matrix turquoise earrings by famous modernist Sam Kramer, NYC, c.1955. Each matrix turquoise comes from a different mine - one is greenish turquoise with black material (right) and the other is blue turquoise with brown(left) material. Obviously hand made, with each earring charmingly differently shaped than the other. They each measure approx. 1 1/8" long by 3/4"-1" wide. Each is signed STERLING mushroom mark(for Kramer) and are in excellent condition...

HUGE sterling and onyx Mexican faces sun calendar by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1931. Quite large and extremely heavy(weighs 80 grams), it measures 3 1/4" in diameter and is signed "SPRATLING SILVER" and "WS MADE IN MEXICO SPRATLING". Gorgeous period art nouveau sheath with nude woman playing the harp sitting in the ocean waves with birds flying above by Unger Brothers, Newark, c.1905. The sheath probably held and can hold a comb, nail file, etc. and measures 3 7/8" long by 13/16" wide and the opening is 1/8" thick(so item should be a bit thinner) by 3/4" long. The design goes all the way around including the narrow edges. It is signed "UB STERLING 925 FINE UB" and is in very good condition...

Double-sided period art nouveau clover design sterling pill box by Unger Brothers, Newark, c.1895. Can be worn with ring to attach a chain at top. Lovely scalloped opening and measures 1 3/4" diameter by 15/16" deep. Signed "UB STERLING 925 FINE UB" in excellent condition with small dent(1/4" long) at top near ring. Geometric, dimensional and unusual signed period art deco sterling, onyx, and marcasites pin, Germany, c.1920. The wonderful design measures 1 5/8" long by 7/8" wide. Sterling ring by deceased modernist jeweler, Jo Catanzaro, Buffalo, NY, who died in 2004 in her 80's. Handmade with oxydized and shiny silver elements. Front irregular circle measures 7/8" in diameter, band is 1/4" wide and is size 7 1/2. Signed "JO CATANZARO"(on band) and "CATANZARO" on underside of front. Excellent condition. This ring is part of a large collection that came from her studio after her death. Some of the pieces are unfinished and unsigned...
