Sterling ring by deceased modernist jeweler, Jo Catanzaro, Buffalo, NY, who died in 2004 in her 80's. Handmade with oxydized and shiny silver elements. Front irregular circle measures 7/8" in diameter, band is 1/4" wide and is size 7 1/2. Signed "JO CATANZARO"(on band) and "CATANZARO" on underside of front. Excellent condition. This ring is part of a large collection that came from her studio after her death. Some of the pieces are unfinished and unsigned...

Beautiful modernist enamel pin on silver with bright red deer set in floral background by Joop Schilt, Holland, c.1940's. This curved pin measures 2" in diameter, so is of good size. It is signed "JOOP SCHILT HOLLAND" and is in excellent condition. Very rare and desirable to find modernist Dutch silver. Fabulous, large, hand made Picasso-esque double profile face ring by Joseph Gourdji, NYC, c.1970's. Made of heavy gauge silver, the design shows two faces in profile. Quite large, it measures 1 1/8" tall. It is made so that the design faces out, so that it is size 9 1/4 at the top of the faces and size 8 3/4 at the bottom of the faces. However, if you want to wear it so that it faces towards the wearer, it is size 8 3/4-9. In excellent condition and is signed "GOURDJI STERLING"...

Fabulous large and fascinating sterling ring by Karram, c.1970's. As you turn the ring it is completely different around. Made of heavy gauge silver, it weighs 16 grams, is size 6 1/2, and is about 3/4" wide. Signed in "KARRAM(handmade) STERLING" and is in excellent condition. Great architecturally designed silver and amethyst handmade pin by Kasityo, Finland, 1965. There are 2 different silver finishes - flat and grainy - that work together well. The piece is signed "KASITYO JOSE (CROWN IN HEART)FINLAND 813H(silver content) M7(1965) ANCHOR symbol made in Lahti(city) and is in excellent condition. The handmade lock is decorative and lovely. Very large hand made sterling belt buckle by Kerr, c.1900. Of good size and weight, it measures 4 1/8" wide by 2 1/4" high and is curved to easily accept cloth or soft leather pulled through. Kerr sterling belt in Victorian style with cherubs, c.1890. The buckle is a bouquet and lattice design measuring 3" by 2 3/4" and clips on to the last link. There are 17 links each measuring 1 3/8" by 1 1/4". The design is a smaller version of the buckle except that on EACH of the four corners there is a cherub's head(hence 68). The length of the belt is 30 3/4" and is signed "STERLING #2 KERR mark(hatchet w/x's)"...

Very early gold-washed sterling mirror/photo round locket by William B. Kerr Co., Newark, c.1865. Has beautiful defined Victorian design on both sides. One side was meant to hold a photograph and the other, a mirror. The mirror has seen it's day, so two photos are fine. One side has a slight bend(see photo #3). Otherwise, very excellent condition. Measures a generous 1 1/2" in diameter with original bale and signed "Kerr mark STERLING 7", which indicates it is one of the very early Kerr designs...

Period art nouveau lovely and large sterling floral pin. c.1900. Fully backed, the design has five flowers connected by a stem(made of silver wire). Of very good size, it measures 2 5/8" wide by 2 3/8" long and is signed "STERLING". The front is in PERFECT condition and the back has a replaced c-clasp base and there are some scratches. Early LOS CASTILLO("#1" design) modernist mixed metal and obsidian bracelet, Mexico, c.1940. Beautifully constructed, there are two curved brass arms that connect to a circular piece of obsidian that turns freely. The brass arms are attached to the sterling locking ends. The obsidian stands 1 1/8" high and forms a very unusual and majestic modernist design. The bracelet measures 7 1/2" around. It is signed "LOS CASTILLO HECHO EN MEXICO 1 (eagle mark)15" and is in excellent condition...

RARE OFFERING:Presented for sale is a historic place card holder for James Hagerty at a meeting between President Eisenhower and Lopez Mateos in the Hotel El Mirador on Feb.19,1959, hand made by Los Castillo, Mexico,1959. Hagerty was the Press Secretary for Pres. Eisenhower. The placard reads:"CENA PRESIDENTES LOPEZ MATEOS-EISENHOWER EN EL HOTEL EL MIRADOR ACAPULCO,GRO. 2-19-59 SR.JAMES C.HAGERTY".
