Rare blue tile and brass footed pitcher of Mayan figure design by Salvador Teran, Mexico, c.1955. Handwrought and very heavy weight, the brass pitcher has a band of blue tiles going down the handle and around the center of the body with 6 brass Mayan figures. Measures 7" high by 5 1/4" diameter and is signed "HANDWROUGHT SALVADOR HECHO EN MEXICO 433". Beautiful red and white sunbonnet quilt, c.1930's. There are 18 sunbonnets girls and the quilt measures 68" by 90". The fabric seems to be a sort of rayon, perhaps, as it has a sheen. The all around red scalloped edging is 4 1/2" wide and the backing is all white. There are some light brown stains around on one of the sunbonnets(see photo). Otherwise, excellent condition. Pair of nautilus-shaped silver and ebony handmade ashtrays by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1940. More a work of art than anything, this lush silver design sits on a silver base which then sits on a rectangular ebony base. They each have a curved oval at the top of the silver opening to hold the cigarette. In excellent condition, they each measure 2" high by 2 or 2 1/4" wide(hand made and not exactly the same)...

This glorious design has a curled silver design from the rosewood to the salad spoon and fork which is repeated at the silver ends. Shown is one of THREE(3) rare STERLING napkin rings by the famous German design company, WMF. Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik(WMF) was founded in 1853 and produced beautiful Jugendstil silver plate items. It is rare to find any WMF sterling silver. The napkin rings are signed: "WMF STERLING 925 GERMANY (sterling German hallmark) " and are in excellent condition. Of good size, they measure 1 3/4" high. Very beautiful design and probably made in the 1960's...
