Sterling and rosewood handmade very large salad set by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1947. This glorious design has a curled silver design from the rosewood to the salad spoon and fork which is repeated at the silver ends. Each piece is signed "WS(in script)925 (around which says)WILLIAM SPRATLING TAXCO MEXICO bellmark 30" and they are in excellent condition. Each piece is 12 3/4" long. Set of 6 800 silver art nouveau figural small teaspoons, Germany, c.1900. Each shows a lovely woman's head with flowing hair in an art nouveau floral setting. The reverse represents the back of the head in a floral setting. Each spoon measures 4 1/2" long. They are signed "800 German marks star" on the back. It is signed "HA(flared) STERLING TAXCO MEXICO 9(bellmark)TALLER BORDA" and is in good condition. There is an 3/4" slight age crack in the wood on one side and there is a bit of metal roughness at the outer edge on both sides that could be original...

Large and heavy gauge sterling salt and pepper set by Los Castillo, Mexico, c.1948. Handmade, each are of slightly different proportion - each are approximately 3" high and 1 3/4" diameter at the base. Quite heavy, they each way, approximately 3 troy ounces. Each are marked "LOS CASTILLO STERLING MEXICO HANDWROUGHT 15". The interesting thing is that one is marked "123" and the other,"153", although they are a matching set...

Pair of nautilus-shaped silver and ebony handmade ashtrays by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1940. More a work of art than anything, this lush silver design sits on a silver base which then sits on a rectangular ebony base. They each have a curved oval at the top of the silver opening to hold the cigarette. In excellent condition, they each measure 2" high by 2 or 2 1/4" wide(hand made and not exactly the same)...

The classic sterling and rosewood three-piece carving set by Hector Aguilar, Mexico, c.1944. The set usually consists of only two pieces. Set consists of a two-pronged meat fork(14" long) and two carving knives(17" and 15 1/2" long each). The rosewood and sterling handles have a glorious design and the knives blades are iron(and have some rust). The handles are in excellent condition.
