Large and beautiful 10 1/4" rosewood and sterling serving fork by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1950's. The 2-prong fork measures 2 1/2" long by 1 5/8" wide. Sculpture of Navajo woman weaving a rug on a loom. Woman is wearing native clothing with a mustard colored long dress, "silver" and "turquoise" belt, squash necklace, and buttons. Her wood loom made of debarked tree branches shows a half finished rug. At her feet are balls of yarn in the colors of the rug - grey, black, ochre, and rust. Beautiful red and white sunbonnet quilt, c.1930's. There are 18 sunbonnets girls and the quilt measures 68" by 90". The fabric seems to be a sort of rayon, perhaps, as it has a sheen. The all around red scalloped edging is 4 1/2" wide and the backing is all white. There are some light brown stains around on one of the sunbonnets(see photo). Otherwise, excellent condition. Wonderful and unusual handmade mosaic tiled tray highlighted by brass insets in a brass tray showing a Mayan warrior profile by SALVADOR TERAN, c.1950's, Mexico. Measures 23" long by 8" wide and is quite heavy. Has original hanger on back for wall. Gorgeous rich red, black, and white Mayan profile highlighted with 3 brass insets set in a brass tray. Early EAGLE DRUM with BEATER by TLINGIT ODIN LONNING(b.1953, Alaska), c.1970's. Handmade drum made of wood and animal skin, etc. The diameter is 16 1/2" by 2 3/4" deep with a skin covered 16 1/2" beater. Beautiful painted EAGLE design. Shown is one of THREE(3) rare STERLING napkin rings by the famous German design company, WMF. Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik(WMF) was founded in 1853 and produced beautiful Jugendstil silver plate items. It is rare to find any WMF sterling silver. The napkin rings are signed: "WMF STERLING 925 GERMANY (sterling German hallmark) " and are in excellent condition. Of good size, they measure 1 3/4" high. Very beautiful design and probably made in the 1960's...

Letter opener hand made of sterling, brass, and copper by Los Castillo, Mexico, c.1940. Well executed married metals design on front and back comprise the top of the piece. It is signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MEXICO #58" and was made before the bellmark system was instituted by the Mexican gov't. in 1947. Made of heavy gauge silver, it measures 6 1/2" long and is in good condition except for the tip which has wear from use...

Handwrought and very heavy weight, the brass pitcher has a band of blue tiles going down the handle and around the center of the body with 6 brass Mayan figures.
