Great modernist designed mixed metals ring in silver and brass, possibly by ANTONIO PINEDA. It is signed "TONO 925" and is in excellent condition. This wonderful "lightening" ring has bolts of brass and silver set against an oxydized silver background. It is made of very heavy gauge silver, weighing 30 gms. and is size 9. Early pair of sterling and amethyst cuff bracelets by Victoria, Mexico, c.1940. They are each signed "VICTORIA TAXCO MADE IN MEXICO SILVER 103" and are in excellent condition. The front measures 1 3/8" at the opening and the inside circumference is 6 3/4" including the opening. Cuffs are flexible so easily go on and off. Will fit a medium to larger wrist. Mexican/art deco REPOUSSE design sterling necklace and bracelet set by Los Castillo, Mexico, c.1940. Dimensional swirling design set backed in silver is made of heavy gauge silver. Each piece is signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MEXICO 663". Each link measures 1 3/16" in diameter. The 14- link necklace is 16 3/4" long and the 6-link bracelet is 7 3/8" long. Famous, large and very heavy brass and tile hand wrought footed box showing HENS by Salvador Teran, Mexico, c.1952. Design shows 5 hens heads on top set in black tiles all around the box. The hinged inside is brass as is the bottom. The inside has a black patina which shows it has interacted with another material(see photo) but doesn't affect the integrity of the piece and could be removed. Early Victoria (c.1940 - #69) 980 silver pin with turquoise showing an amusing dog sticking out his tongue wearing a turquoise collar. Lushly designed floral sterling and amethyst pin sold by Sanborn's and possibly made by Fred Davis who managed and designed for the store from 1947 through the early 50's, Mexico, c.1950. Pin is signed "bellmark 22", which was Sanborn's number. It measures 2 1/8" long by 1" wide. Excellent condition except that pin was probably changed with lead solder. Letter opener hand made of sterling, brass, and copper by Los Castillo, Mexico, c.1940. Well executed married metals design on front and back comprise the top of the piece. It is signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MEXICO #58" and was made before the bellmark system was instituted by the Mexican gov't. in 1947. One of the best and largest silver pins by Hector Aguilar, Mexico, c.1948. Beautiful repouseed floral pin showing play between oyxidized deep lines and shiny surface silver. Beautiful red wood jacket with richly appliqued figures, Mexico, c.1940's. There are large man and woman figures on back and donkey, cactus, guitar, ceramics, etc on front and sleeves. There are two front pockets and the edges have sewn wool stitching all around. Interesting collar design(see photo). Small size - approx. size 4. Rare sterling modernist choker necklace by Sigi, c.1952. Extremely heavy, it weighs 5 troy oz(150 gms)and is in excellent condition. The concave necklace houses graduated dimensional silver balls going around the entire piece. Sigi opened his PLATEROS shop in 1952, and one rarely sees the PLATEROS mark.
