SOLD Kaneshige Riuemon, A Bizen okimono of a rabbit. A characterful okimono of a seated rabbit, ears stretched back listening for sounds and wide eyed. This piece is from one of the oldest kilns in Bizen, under control of the Kaneshige lineage. Original tomobako. Mark: Two character incised mark “Kaneshige” to the rear. Origin: Bizen, Japan. Period: Showa Period, circa 1960s. Size: 12cm, high, 17cm diameter. Condition: fine
