Kiyomizu Rokubei VI (1901-1980), a set of two sake cups. A set of two stoneware sake cups, each decorated differently. One is decorated in Kyoto style with an iron brown and cobalt kite to the side, and the other decorated in Korean hakeme style with brushed white slip and some stamped cloud motifs and marks to the center in iron brown. Original tomobako. Mark: impressed hexagonal mark “sei” to the side near the footrim to one cup, and to the base of the other. Origin: Kyoto, Japan. Period: Showa Period, circa 1960s. Size: each 5.6cm diameter, 2.3cm high. Condition: fine.
