Fine quality, heavy sterling silver antique snuff box. The large box is extensively hand-chased with scrolling foliates upon its top as well as sides. Very fine, large WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) Art Nouveau wine or Champagne cooler. Each of the tri-form sides depicts in high relief a different castle from the Rhine and Mosel Valleys. The castles are nestled among naturalistic landscapes in deep relief as well. Three pierced handles adorn the top section. Firm's marks beneath. Steuben Cluthra glass in the form of a goblet. The Art Deco example, with its hexagonal top, is shaded from Gold Ruby to white with internal bubbles. The footed glass is Frederick Carder's design number 6909, as illustrated in "The Glass of Frederick Carder," page 194; circa 1920's. 6 1/2" H.
Whimsical barrel-form holder houses four stacking cocktail bar shot glasses. The black enameled barrel has oxidized brass bandings. Top scenic emblem reads: Fort Dearborn, Century of Progress, 1833-Chicago-1933. Chromium shots, as well as barrel, are all marked Germany; circa 1930's. 2 1/4" H.
