Vienna Secession silver drinking cup or goblet by the well-regarded J.C. Klinkosch silver workshop in Vienna circa 1925-'30. The hammered, silver-footed goblet with a swirling, fluted knop upholding the cup was likely designed by Oswald Haerdtl. The artist, known for his distinct Vienna Secession forms, was an assistant to Josef Hoffmann. A beautiful, stylized applique monogram is upon one side. Impressed marks for 800 fine silver as well as workshop marks. Examples of Klinkosch works are found in the Brohan Museum in Berlin. 6 1/8" H.

Fine cast bronze of a boy holding an early carved flute-like instrument known as a chalumeau. The figure with wavy hair wears a jacket, hat and fur-lined shoes. A basket of fruits rests behind. Signed upon the squared base, Duchoiselle. The sculptor, active in France in the nineteenth century, created a highly regarded pair of bronzes depicting Native American Indians in canoes. Three draped parian maidens, each signed Copeland, are mounted upon a tripod-form stand. An elaborately detailed, gilded metal palm tree emerges from the stand's center. The naturalistic Victorian design upholds a crystal bowl cut and etched with complementing foliates about its border. Popular parian wares were prominent in Victorian-era England.
