Lovely unusual example from the famous Mappin & Webb workshop of London and Sheffield circa 1910. Crystal biscuit barrel with silvered mounts is cut with stylized florals and vines dancing about the ribbed surface. A bale handle and turned lid finial enhance the form. Ideal for cookies as well as for use as a covered ice cooler. Dimensions: 6 1/2" H., 8" H. to handle, 6" W.
