Lovely Art Nouveau pendant from the famous Charles Horner workshop in sterling silver and enamel. An oval enamel in lustrous cobalt and turquois is surrounded by reticulated foliates. Three round enamels as well as a suspended drop, all in purples, further enhance the elegant Art Nouveau design. 1 1/2" L. Lush enamel and sterling silver dragonfly brooch. Rich cobalt blue enamel work with green at center of the dragonfly. Detailed wing pattern is beneath the enamel along with black patterned highlights. Made by John Atkins & Sons, well-known for their fine silver and enamel jewelry created in Birmingham, England between the Art Nouveau and Art Deco design eras.
