Hallberg pewter candle holders made by the C. G. Hallberg workshop in Stockholm, Sweden. Hallmark date 1931. The prominent gold and silversmith was jeweler to the Swedish royal court. Each two-arm candle holder rests upon a round, stepped base. A central fan form finial crowns the curving form. Dimensions: 9 1/2" H., 8 1/4" W.
Beautiful reticulated Jugendstil centerpiece made by WMF (Wurttembergische Metalwaren Fabrik) in Germany circa 1900. Flowing whiplash design elements surround a central Art Nouveau maiden in profile. Scarce example of a sterling silver cocktail spoon made for Georg Jensen U.S.A. in the 1940's. Long, gently curving Modernist design spoon with notch elements upon the handle. Marked "Handwrought" along with workshop marks. These items were sold in Jensen's 5th Ave. store under the direction of Frederick Lunning during the war years when Denmark was unable to export silver. 12 1/4" L.

Very fine Vienna Secession silver box. Exquisite example created in the well-known Alexander Sturm silver workshop in Vienna, circa 1922-32. Possibly designed by Josef Hoffmann (1870-1956). Prior to 1903 Sturm made designs for Hoffman, prior to the founding of the Wiener Werkstatte, again resuming Hoffmann designs circa 1932, when Wiener Werkstatte closed. Examples of Sturm silver have been featured in exhibits at the Neue Galerie in New York. Stamped marks for A. Strum as well as 900 Fine Siver mark. 2 1/2" H., 5 3/8" W., 6 7/8" L.
