An applied hand displaying one finger to mark one ounce is upon the British jigger. Made by the well-known James Dixon & Sons workshop in Sheffield. Since the 19th century, Dixon was known for creating fine quality cocktail and drinks accessories, including flasks, shakers and measures. Circa 1950's. 2 3/4" H.

The highly-sought, original Zeppelin cocktail shaker. Crafted with precision in Solingen, Germany, circa 1930. Difficult-to-find example, complete with its 19 parts, which compactly fit together. Parts include shaker body, juicer/strainer, strainer cover, flask, funnel, four graduated tumblers, corkscrew with cover, gondola, four ice picks/spoons, shaker top and finned condiment bowl with lid. Nickel-plated with gilded interiors. Recently a Zeppelin was included in the Smithsonian's Cooper Hewitt exhibit, The Jazz Age. An example of this famous design is in the collection of the Minneapolis Institute of Art. The Zeppelins were made by J.A. Henckels. Marks include D.R.G.M. as well as Germany on many parts. 12" H.

Hallberg pewter candle holders made by the C. G. Hallberg workshop in Stockholm, Sweden. Hallmark date 1931. The prominent gold and silversmith was jeweler to the Swedish royal court. Bronze bottle opener mounted with a cast figural swan. The form is a fine example made by Richard Rohac (1906-1956) in Austria circa 1950. Rohac trained with Hagenauer prior to establishing his own metal workshop in 1932. He was well-known for creating stylized, Modernist figures of animals as well as other decorative sculpture. Signed beneath with the artist's backward/forward double "R" mark. 1 3/4" H., 3" L.
