Secession pottery covered bowl by Dagobert Peche (Austria 1877-1923). Impressed marks for Gmunder Keramik Austria 1915-20. The firm executed pottery for the Wiener Werkstatte. Stylized Vienna Secession design of a figural, reclining woman holding a flower amidst a naturalistic gardenscape glazed in black and white. A tree is upon the reverse. The cover is crowned by a finial along with a geometric Secession pattern.
