Rare example of a Liberty Tudric pewter charger designed by Archibald Knox. The wide rim is mounted with five intertwining Art Nouveau florals, each set with abalone shell. A similar example is pictured in "Liberty Style," by Victor Arwas, page 100. Marks: Tudric 0108; England circa 1902-05. A fine specimen for the collector of works by Knox, Liberty's most famous designer. Knox works can be found in museums worldwide including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Victoria & Albert Museum, British Museum and Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. 9 1/2" W.
