Fine, heavy-quality crystal cocktail shaker cut from cranberry-to-clear in vertical patterns. This shaker is signed beneath the strainer section by Stephen Visakay. Provenance: Exhibited in the now-famous and pivotal cocktail shaker exhibition curated by Visakay, displayed at the San Francisco Airport Museum from March 21 to February 20, 1998; titled "Shaken, Not Stirred: Cocktail Shakers and Design." At the time of exhibit, no maker attribution was given. This shaker design was produced by Val St. Lambert in both cranberry and emerald green. They were marked with this famous Belgian workshop's paper foil labels. We have had examples with their labels intact sold to our collectors in our history. Val St. Lambert is considered among the finest quality since the 19th century.
