A very elegant teardrop-shaped Japanese bronze bottle vase with hirazogan inlay of gold and silver. Four-character mark to base, probably a dedication. Height: 24.2 cm. Early 20th cent.
Very faint indentation to base of body.

A rare Japanese gilt-copper ekoro (censer), the brazier engraved with lotus, the cover pierced with a dharma wheel surrounded by scrolling foliage and the handle similarly decorated. Length: 27.5 cm. Kamakura period (14/15th cent.).
A small pillar mounted on the terminal of the handle is missing.
