This Willow pattern platter is by Godwin, Rowley and Co. of Burslem and dates from 1828-31. It is 407mm long and 324mm wide. It is in excellent condition with the colour still strong. Its only blemishes are some light crazing and two small areas where the pattern was smudged before being fired.

A very pretty Rockingham hand painted and gilded trio decorated with pattern 958. The shape is "Basket Weave", with a moulded basket weave pattern to the outside of the cups and to the base of the saucer. There are plain cartouches on either side of the cups which have been decorated with small sprays of flowers. It does have some very faint crazing and there is a very small area of light discolouration to the outside of the coffee cup-otherwise it is in superb condition. C1830-42

An unframed KPM lithophane with a sentimental Victorian scene of a young girl doing her hair in a mirror. The main scene is in an oval cartouche, surrounded by arabesques. The rear is impressed with the KPM sceptre mark over KPM, the model number 407 and the letter Z. The width is 195 mm (7.75 inches) and the height is 155 mm (6.125 inches). There is a small shallow chip to the rear of one edge near the KPM mark, which cannot be seen from the front. C 1870.

This Indian made slip top, slightly cushion shaped card case is decorated with Sadeli mosaic ware to the front and rear with the sides featuring mosaic roundels. The mosaic is inlaid into ivory which is glued onto a sandalwood carcass. It measures 104mm long, 81mm wide and 15mm thick. There is some loss of mosaic which can be seen in the photo to the top of the case. On the reverse there is some more loss but it is much smaller. C1840-80.

This hand painted and gilded vase by Coalport stands 187mm high and is decorated on both sides with posies of flowers. The moulding top and bottom suggest acanthus leaves, and sprouting from the twig handles are coloured and gilded leaves. These are complemented by the maroon ground and the gilding. This very attractive hand painted wall plaque or charger is decorated with pattern A3830 from A.E. Gray's Pottery in Stoke-on-Trent. The flowers are done with a muted palette with jewelled highlights to their centres, whilst the leaves are painted in autumnal colours. The painting and the gilding are enhanced by the buff coloured ground. The condition is very good apart from some crazing. It is 340mm in diameter and dates from around 1937.
